Glimpse at our Math Class
The Grade 3 students reviewed
for our Math test. They used Manipulatives to create 3 digit numbers. They
worked in groups, displayed their work and shared their knowledge with their
classmates.
They developed understanding
about using hundreds, tens and ones. They used place- value concepts to compare
and order numbers to 1000.
Students used number lines and
Hundred Chart to explore skip counting forward, backward, by: 5, 10, and 25.
The latest focus was: “Numbers Patterns are extended to counting by 3’s and
4’s”.
